Digvijay Nath L.T. Training College (B.Ed. curriculum), Gorakhpur was established as L.T. Training in July 1972. It has gotten permanent recognition from Utter Pradesh state Government Lucknow on 01 July 1983 as L.T. Training College. It was recognized by NRC, NCTE, Jaipur for L.T. Course also. According to the recommendation of National Council for teacher education, DVNLT Training College has been converted as a B.Ed. college from 01 July 1999 and affiliated with D.D.U. Gorakhpur University and till then the institution run B.Ed. course. Digvijay Nath L.T. Training College is permanently affiliated with DDU Gorakhpur University since 1st July 2004 with the strength of 120 students. This institution is one of the oldest secondary teacher training institutions of Eastern U.P.
At present One(01) Principal & Ten(10) Lecturers are in the college against 120 seats. It is sufficient for approved intake according to present norms of NCTE.
